Rehabilitation Unit

The Rehabilitation Unit at the Cornwall Community Hospital services the needs of the five Eastern counties. The patient population is comprised of stroke, musculoskeletal conditions such as hip fractures, lower limb amputees, acquired brain injury, deconditioning following medical or surgical events, medically complex conditions such as MS, Parkinson's Disease and spinal cord injuries etc.

The Rehabilitation Unit provides patient and family-focused rehabilitative care to help individuals achieve their maximum functional potential. Rehabilitation care is provided by a multidisciplinary team that includes physiatry, nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, social work and speech-language pathology.
